2025 Q2 Impact Awards

Hey everyone - Happy Friday!!

I'm so sorry for the massively delayed event recap.  I'm going to blame sleep deprivation from having a newborn as my excuse but I wanted to make sure we sent out a note for those that weren't able to make it.

To start, it was amazing to hear an update from CASA Orange County about the amazing work they are doing to help foster youth in our community.  And to hear the updated stats around youth in the dependency system only makes it more meaningful to be able to support their work!

And then it was great to hear from Families Forward and We Care, who are both helping serve the homeless community here in OC.

But a well deserved congratulations goes to our winner, Templo Calvario Community Development Corporation (TCCDC is a bit easier).  What an incredible story about how Alexis not only got into Harvard, but graduated with NO DEBT!!!  That speaks volumes to the work TCCDC is doing, and it will be so awesome to hear from them next quarter, and I'm grateful we are able to help fuel the mission they have to serve our youth.

The next event is on August 28th, and I just sent out the calendar invite. I know that is getting close to when a lot of kids are going back to school, and there will be some last minute summer vacations.  But if you're able to plan now to either attend virtually or send someone from your team to represent, we are looking forward to the largest event we've had so far!!
