2023 Q4 Impact Awards
Hey 100 CTC community! We just finished our last event for 2023, and we are headed into Thanksgiving next week, so I hope this email finds you well! I also hope that you know how grateful the 100 CTC team is for your support of the work we are doing - as I know our nonprofit partners are EXTREMELY grateful for you!
We had a tie!
We are going to start holding "salon events" (aka tupperware parties)
Year-End giving
Thanks to everyone who attended either in-person or virtually - it was another incredible event where we got to share with some guests, welcome some new members, and as always... hear from 3 amazing organizations.
1) We had another tie!!! This happened once a while back and is always kind of fun and exciting. We got to hear about the amazing work that Kidworks is doing to help empower youth in OC - but ultimately Tara's Chance and Precious Life Shelter came away with the tie for first!
So we will get a great opportunity to hear from both of them in Q1.
2) As mentioned at the event, we want to make it easier for you all to support our recruiting/growth efforts by offering to do more intimate events where we can share the 100 CTC mission with a small group. And then we will sign them up with a high-pressure, time-share-style sales pitch ;)
We are hoping to do 2 of these between now and the next event in February. These can be hosted by one person/company, or we can team up to do co-hosted events.
What a host would be committing to would be providing food and/or drinks for the event, as well as possibly a gathering space. However, we do have nonprofit partners who are also willing to open up their facilities to us, as that can create a more tangible element.
Please reach out to me or any of us on the team directly if you're willing to host one of these!
3) Many of you have shared some names of companies that would be great members of our community, and we are grateful for that!
But as a reminder that it's a great time to ask people to consider giving because of the ability to make the donation for 2024 ahead of Jan 1. Also - if any of you want to prepay your contributions ahead of Jan 1, you can let me know, and I'll send out an invoice.
